What direction are you consciously moving towards? Regardless of harsh situations stirring in your life, the universe is actively listening to your mood, your daydreams, and your mindset.
Sometimes, we have to encourage ourselves and practice self-compassion instead of doubt and worry. A great habit changer to produce positivity is the implementation of mantras into our daily lives. By definition, the translation of this Sanskrit word means “thought”.
According to Merriam-Webster, a mantra is a word or phrase that is repeated often or expresses someone’s basic beliefs. You might not feel happy and content but by repeating positive mantras during times of angst or despair, you would literally be willing your subconscious self into the belief that you are an amazing person and deserving of great things (which you already are, by the way).
So, give yourself permission to be great with these freeing mantras.
Healthy. Wealthy. Joyful.
This is a three-word mantra with ground shaking capability. If you are prone to having bouts of anxiety while either alone or in a room full of associates, there might be moments when you lose complete trust in yourself. Questions begin to roll through your head like, “I don’t have what it takes to get this job done” or “These people must think that I’m not good enough (or attractive enough)”. These unhealthy thoughts are an outright lie but feel so real.
In times of distress, simply repeat to yourself, “Healthy, wealthy, joyful”. Say it in your mind with power and you will start to believe. Just like the writer and motivator Napoleon Hill said, “Whatever the mind can conceive and believe, the mind can achieve.” In order to achieve greatness, we first must believe that it is possible.
Joyful energetic body. Loving compassionate heart. Reflective alert mind.
Let this mantra and affirmation ring true for you. Many of us sleep for six to eight hours and manage to wake up in the morning still tired and sore. Regardless, we have to keep going because we have a job to do. Listen, sometimes you have to give your body the Okie-Dokie and provide yourself with a mental pep talk until you become refreshed and ready for this game called life.
One of Deepak Chopra’s morning mantras is to calmly repeat, “Joyful energetic body. Loving compassionate heart. Reflective alert mind.” You DO have the power to attract joyful, loving, and positive energy into your life.

Prosperity flows freely through me.
Can you think of a reason why not to say this mantra? Louise Hay, a self-help heavy hitter, uses this mantra as a declaration and affirmation throughout her Abundance series.
Financial struggles are debilitating and it is so easy to focus on what is missing: money. It is obvious that the wallet might be empty and the bills are due but change the aura of your environment by calling prosperity into existence. Instead of claiming that you are broke, announce that the money is on the way. The next time you feel yourself pinching a penny, remind yourself over and over again that prosperity flows freely through you!
